Setting yourself up

In the first module, Starting, the second Lesson is ‘About You’, in which the second Session is Your Details.  If you h6ave not already completed this Session, you will need to complete the Lesson and Sessions that precede this, as the first lessons need to be done in order.

When you get to the Your Details panel, you need to enter your full name and email address as a minimum, but it is a good idea to enter your other details as well.

You will also see two fields to the top right. Complete these as follows:

User ID:
Enter your full name followed by @rewards.type-smart.com

For example: BobJones@rewards.type-smart.com

Password:
Choose any reasonable password.  It will be stored in your Progress Record file for your convenience.

Do not change it while you are participating in the Rewards Program.

How do I submit my Progress Record?

There are various ways in which you can submit your progress records.

  1. Using the typeSmart software
  2. By mail on a CD or floppy disc.
  3. Using our form to email it to us

Submit using the software.

Participants must have typeSmart v3.3 which has a Submit item on the drop-down menu item under the File button on the Navigate Bar, as shown.  The Submit item will be disabled until you have filled in your details as explained above.

You need to be connected to the Internet first. Clicking on Submit displays a Confirm dialog, and when you click OK your Progress Record data (not the file itself) is submitted to our database.

You can View what you have submitted at any time by using the View submission item on the drop-down menu of the File button on the Navigate Bar. Again, you need to be connected to the Internet.

Submit by mailing a CD or floppy disc.

Save your Progress Record onto a CD or floppy disc, package it securely and send it to
